Crap Mariner's First Life
Laurence Simon is a 30-something technical support drone for the webhosting division of a local ISP. He lives in Houston, TX with his wife and cat (there used to be four, but three are dead - and I’m talking about cats here, not wives).
In the urban paradise they call home, he gardens, grills, bakes excellent bread in his bread machine, and slowly dips further into insanity.
His compulsive, almost vicious nitpickiness and pettiness about matters trivial and massive fill his weblog for the delight and angst of all.
If you want to hear what he sounds like, why not check his daily podcast for some amusing 100-word stories. Every week, the Weekly Challenge brings in other writers to come up with their own stories based on a topic of his choosing.
He’s also on KPRC Radio in Houston as a in-studio stalker/sidekick/trained monkey to the High Tech Texan most Saturdays from 11 to 2 Houston Time.
Oh, and he’s so full of crap, his eyes are brown.
Crap Mariner's Second Life
Crap Mariner is your run-of-the-mill cigar-chomping wind-up midget butler in a Tuxedo who lives in a gigantic matzoh clocktower in the middle of Edloe island.
His “sister” Cee is a disturbingly tall wafer-thin scythe-wielding maniac in a white suit and matzoh-ribboned hat. She’s got a few loose gears, if you know what I mean.
Edloe and Nowhereville islands are co-operative/co-ownership projects meant to empower each resident with the maximum amount of access to allow collaboration, control, and creativity across each sim. Does it work? Um… er… sorta.
He can be found wandering from music venue to music venue, enjoying the best of what SL Music has to offer.

The time here is Israel is now a few minutes before the after, and you’re listening to the sound of a drop of water, falling into a large brick.
