an interesting photo study on how changing skin and hair do can change your look. The “blonde” is the Daphne that I resonate with most strongly, altho I believe I have actually known you for longer as a brunette or redhead [which does not appear]. Do you find that others that you meet for the first time treat you differently? There has been a lot of discussion on the SLED listserve on that subject.
but your shoot does not include how your boots’ look is impacted by the different skins!

Bela,
I haven’t found that strangers treat me differently. I have found my friends are vocal about their preferences though. Those who have known me longest remember I used to have dark red or black hair and only went blonde in mid-October. I just decided to give the black a try one day and I like it with my new skins and the ever-so-slight modifications to my shape I have done in the past 5 months.
Surprisingly, when I have gone out in the Drow skin, I have been approached by more newbies asking for help then when I was a tan blonde. I would think the blonde is more friendly then a dark elf, but maybe it’s because I had on a nice outfit and great boots.
In a world where people can be furries or dragons, I don’t think keeping a human form and changing my coloring is that big a deal.

My sister! Well, in name, anyway… what a great set of pictures. I’ve tried to make a nice Drow av, but I was never happy with the colors of the skins, plus the lips and hair… but now maybe you have inspired me!

I wonder how many Abernathy’s there are ( well, Search woul tell that pretty quick). We should have a convention, like that RL “Bob” party that they have each year in Philadelphia (I think).

thank you for your thoughtful reply, Daphne. Oddly enough, in a couple meetings on diversity, there were people who felt that they were treated differently becuase they chose a more ethnic look, and I was wondering if that would flow over to drows. I do know that there is an active prejudice against furries
