I had to cut all of my hours at Bar SINister....so now I only work on friday nights. I really wasn't looking forward to going in tonight because the past couple of friday nights have been sort of boring. I don't like working at a place where everyone in the room happens to work there...and then there's a contest going on & the one person that doesn't work there enters...and wins (no contest there)
Tonight was a bit different.
Aside from the employees, we had others there. Enough to do a contest. I really enjoyed working with Porshe...she's very lively & kept the conversations flowing....Normajean was just as entertaining.....I was full of giggles....and then I met Kenny Avalanche. He seemed to be very popular with all the girls in the room...and he was the only guy in the room with his shirt on...so we teased him until he took it off.
Did I mention he was a neko? I seem to have a soft spot for the neko boys. There aren't enough of them in SL.....well, I was just being my nice, friendly self & then I think he may have been flirting with me....it was strange....but nice. Sometimes when you're partnered, you forget how to flirt. Perhaps I'll see him again....and maybe we will speak. If not....ah well.
I am a little mad. I tried to take his pic...and I got a really good shot...but ask me where the picture is....just ask. Your guess is a good as mine!
Anyways....I must get rest....and I'll hope that all my friday nights there are just as fun...

Last night was so much fun! I haven't taken time for myself in a while, so I got some toast & went to Sanctuary Rock.

I was just there to dance with my toast...but they were having this sexy event & it was basically whatever you thought you looked the sexiest in....and DAMN if I didn't come in as runner up! I didn't care if I won at all....I was just having fun....but apparently toast is sexy.....

I'm PISSED.....no...I'm a little more that that.
I have been running the older version of SL for a while now. Sunday I decided to download the new version (windlight) & my system requirements don't meet the standards that LL set...that's fine. Everything was running like shit but I had planned on getting a new graphics card tonight....it would have only cost me $169...and that's a sweeter deal that what I now have to pay.....
I have a DELL Dimension E310. Well, I just found out that Dell's a piece of shit...just like Gateway....they don't want you going inside & messing with what they put in there.....SL did an upgrade & now my graphics card is inferior...and Dell doesn't leave room for you to install another. Now I have to spend $800+ on a whole new PC instead. That's just goddamn fucking retarded.
I tried to install the older version that I had been running on...until I can figure out where I'm going to get the money for the new PC, but the fuckers at LL made damn sure that if you go forward, you can't go back. Thank you LL...you've OFFICIALLY ruined my SL.
Live & learn...I wont ever buy another Dell.....and I wont be paying for premium membership when this one expires. LL can go fuck themselves.

Well, I was finally able to unburden myself of the secret I had been carrying around for almost a year. I was ready to pay for my deceit, at whatever it would cost me, but things turned out better than I expected. People were hurt, and I felt terrible about that, but that is slowly being worked through...building trust again. If the trust can't be built back to what it was, I'll understand....either way...I get what I deserve & that isn't for me to decide.

Looks like I got out just in time!

I kept hearing things about bossa nova closing for good. This made me very upset. I like that store...ALOT. She put out a freebie box of all the stuff she could find that she gave away in the past as freebies. It's in the front of the store as you walk in. I'm still not sure what she's going to do...stay or go. But I really hope she stays.

I got this dress as a freebie, & then I bought the hair to go with it. (hat comes with) I love it!

Well, I did it. I quit Nico Creations.
I was going to say something to her before I left but decided to just leave quietly instead. I mean, I may work for peanuts, but I will NOT work free for anyone. There have been many times that I've lost an hour of work here & there & have never said anything to her, but 3 hours in a row....the whole thing just pissed me off. I'm glad I don't have to worry about it anymore.

And she may be losing another model soon....who has already went on to bigger & better things.

You know, I bitched about work the other day, but decided to stay. Now I'm pissed AGAIN.
I worked for OVER 3 hours yesterday & when I hopped off the stand was when LL decided to have a database crash. NICE!
I told my boss in & IM & didn't get a response, so I sent her a notecard this morning & she, in return, said she wasn't going to pay me for LL's screw up. I'm an honest person. I wouldn't lie about how long I worked. I felt like she was, essentially, calling me a liar.
Well, that's too bad for her. I'm quitting as soon as my shift ends this morning. I'm one of the best looking models there....and really, her clothing isn't all that great anyway. I make HER stuff look good, not the other way around. I can do better.

The other day I sent a message to Joella. We are required to work at least 3 days a week. More than 20 minutes a day. Well, she hired a few new models & they seem to be stand hogs. I told Joella the times I could work, but every time I go there, the stands are all full. So I told her I might have to quit because I wasn't going to worry myself...trying to make sure I work the 3 days a week that is required to keep my job. Maybe it would be nice to be jobless. I can add money to my account if I want...no big deal. Most of the things I get now are freebies anyway. Like my hair....
Then, I decided to rent my retro house out to a friend of mine. I built a place for them in the sky, but I'm never in the house, so I might as well let someone else get some use out of it. I redid the bar room. Got rid of the bar that Walter gave me (could have used it if he would have made it mod...the red leopard seats clashed with my new walls) Got a new bar from C & D. She had lots of fun colors to choose from...but I went with green. Looks good. I cleaned the living area up & fixed the bedroom....now I'm working on the yard. It's fun to add & take away things.
Found a motorcycle parked in my yard last night. Returned it to it's owner. I plan on getting it ready for my friend by tomorrow....so he can start putting his personal touches in the place. I gave him Seeme as a housewarming gift. Seeme & Charlie couldn't live together. They were always fighting.
Anyways...I'm off to work. Nothing more exciting to say....I'll post pics of the new place soon....OH! I almost forgot. I have a new nose. My old nose was a little "pinched". My new nose is JUST RIGHT!

I went to play in Straylight today. There I met Azaiya. She is a faun too....I fell into the water & we ran up the hill & there we met a man. He had no idea what we were. We giggled at him & he ran away. Then we went to the waterfall & took some pictures. I had to go after that & when I returned, she was nowhere to be found....so I watched the moon rise over Straylight....

I wandered around in the dark of the woods, with only my inner glow to guide me. Soon I found a quiet place to sit down & think about all the fun I've had today....

I watched the stars twinkle in the sky & soon I became sleepy. I found a huge tree to curl up beside & I drifted off to dream......

What have I been doing all weekend? Working. Well, I went out last night to hear a new song off of Linus Radfords' upcoming album. Sounds GREAT to me! I want to hear the rest...then I went to some goth event....meh.
But I've been working mostly. Joella is having a 50% off sale...everything in the store. Today I'm wearing the Sass outfit & the 5.0 sunglasses. Menu driven...plenty of colors.

So, I pitched a fit yesterday....about my inventory....but it seems that it decided to show up after I did this & that to it. Shinji seems to think I have too much inventory (imagine that)....so I'm in the process of throwing out things. Stuff I bought when I was "new" just isn't cool anymore. (meaning I wouldn't be caught DEAD wearing it) so I'm going to hit the delete button (unless I can make it work out for my fox avi) We'll see. Inventory makes my head hurt.

I noticed that Neko was a really big thing in SL when I first started. Now I think it's gone to the Fauns/Satyrs & Faeries. I have seen so many fauns lately. I decided to try on the hooves for myself & I LOVE it! I went to Starylight & became a Starylight Faun. I can't wait to go & frolic with my friends again real soon. It's really relaxing...take the inventory stress away. I need to get rid of my stress.....

Why the fuck am I wearing this skin, but it's nowhere to be found in my inventory? How is that possible??? That is some fucked up shit.
