USA- Duplicate Drug Tests on Beagles

For six months, a PETA undercover investigator worked in an Ohio lab where beagles were force-fed Oxycontin, a drug that had already been tested on animals and had been on the market in the U.S. for decades. The tests were conducted ostensibly to satisfy Japanese regulatory requirements. This case led to PETA's involvement in the International Conference on Harmonization, which works to streamline regulatory requirements for drug testing

USA- woman starves dog to dead

For well more than a month a 2 yr-old pitbull lay locked in a wire cage, outside, no shelter, no food, no water. This dog suffered a horrible, cruel death at the hands of a Troy, NY woman, 48 yr-old Deborah Bradley

Neighbors told police they has spoken to Bradley about how poorly the dog look but they were ignored. But Bradley says that she only noticed the dog had been there on Thanksgiving and the next day she was arrested.

When police arrived at the house they found the dog in a wire cage with no protection from the cold weather. It’s collar too large to fit its emaciated body. Only sticks and small rocks were found in the dog’s stomach and its fur caked with feces.

Puppy mills look forward to this all year long, but this year, lets educate consumers about puppy mills so they choose shelter pets instead of buying puppies in pet stores
