Uva Oxide's First Life
I’ve just relocated to the 9th biggest metropolitan area in the US, Atlanta Georgia :-)I’ve been a Southeasterner for just over a year now. I’ve been a Northwesterner for all but 4 years of my life. So I have a lot of exploring to do in RL. Also I’ve been spending a lot of my time working on real life ceramic art, and writing lately. But, I do check in for a few hours here and there, mostly to see art, go to art & writing related events and wander.
Uva Oxide's Second Life
SL is art, a crazy 3D block set with a scripting language, and a particles and sound to add “flavor”. I escape my RL in SL. My experiment of Prose & Poetry on the rocks is 50+ bits of original writing strong and still growing. I’ve been selling copies and more importantly ‘I pay royalties to the writer of every copy sold’{ 10/12 L$ } yes, just tip sized royalties, but a few have told me they have never sold a poem before, and making someone happy sure is grand :-D makes being a publisher worth while. So writers I am just 14 submissions short of maxing up my prims! And as ya’ll know, SL is a great communication platform. So please feel welcome to stop by to read or submit a note card sized bit of original written work. I came here because SLBuzz was listed as a location of SL sim names, and logged in to map my exploration of the ever changing, growing mass there in the un-first.
