Viajero Pugilist's First Life
First I gotta say this is kinda weird (at my age, I’m way old for this social networking stuff), but I guess I’m here. I’m happily located in one of the best places in the world, the Olympic Mountains of the Pacific Northwest (US). I’m a desert rat also, and get to the Southwest once a year to let my soul wander in open spaces. I have a lovely wonderful girlfriend of 7 years. Both of my parents came from Ireland. I grew up near the beaches of central California, took the long road through college, and after some delay became a semi-solid citizen, as a paralegal, massage therapist and longtime park ranger — so far. “In transition” now (happens quite often), planning a next career step (toppling Ashne Chung?–nah).

Viajero Pugilist's Second Life
hmmm. I love this place. Sometimes too much.
Love meeting all the creative and friendly people I have from all over the globe. Have made some good friends, have had wild times in amazing corners of the grid, and have done things I’ll never be able to do in RL. So fun!
Have contributed to the SL economy as a consumer, hope to be a creative force as well in some way or other. Have been known to hang at Help Island Public with the great group of folks who (unofficially) help noobs. Great place to ask and answer questions. Am just about to buy a first piece of land with my SL best friend. (Looking for oceanfront property, possibly 5-15k sq m., possibly will throw some rental houses up to pay the tier at some point and provide newbs a place of their own — please feel free to pass on any leads, ideas, and cautions).
In SL I am still pretty new, though it seems like forever that I’ve been wandering on my uni, fighting katana (so damn fun), skydiving, doing mazes, hanging in sandboxes, sowing my wild oats, checking out the Dark Sims, learning about building, taking photos. I have some favorite toys: a Harley Viper, a little spaceship, Ordinal Malathrop’s Victorian gadgets, a Flying Taco sailboat, etc. My next toys on the wish list are a surfboard, a shakuhachi, and a Dragon. I love effects like fire and weather-making. I can be fun and obnoxious with them and the many gestures I’ve collected.
Would love to meet more fun people, don’t hesitate to IM me outa the blue! Especially, but not limited to, tips on extraordinary sims, buildings, or SL experiences. But no shopping tips, please. I hold the contrarian belief that Shopping is Evil and a Waste of a Second Life. *Unless you’re shopping for toys, hehe.
Have learned to use “hehe” and “LOL” without cringing (too much). Working my way towards “ROFLOL” or w/e.
My, I do go on.
